ROADMAP Execution-focused milestones

From defined architecture to field validation.

BOTPLANNER L5 is past the concept stage. The platform architecture is defined, key vendors are engaged, and module integration is underway. Our current focus is rapid prototype assembly and validation—targeting a first functional prototype in ~40–45 days.

Execution Timeline

Milestones are presented by readiness state (Completed / In Progress / Next / Target) rather than fixed calendar promises.

Phase 1 — Architecture Definition

Core platform envelope, modular strategy, and integration assumptions established.
COMPLETED
  • Platform: footprint + autonomy blocks + modular payload bay concept
  • Modules: spraying / skimming / sanding tool roadmap locked
  • Power: battery + inverter direction defined (split-phase strategy)
  • Design continues to iterate, but the architecture baseline is stable.

Phase 2 — Prototype Assembly

Mechanical + electrical integration to reach first functional prototype behavior.
IN PROGRESS
  • Chassis: mecanum drive integration + controller wiring
  • Sensing: lidar + camera monitoring integration (job-site awareness)
  • Power: battery system + inverter + distribution + protections
  • Arm: FR10 integration + tool IO mapping
  • Target window: first functional prototype in ~40–45 days (subject to parts availability and iteration).

Phase 3 — Functional Validation

Confirm end-to-end workflows, duty cycle, and stability under realistic loads.
NEXT
  • Spraying: verify flow control, tip targets, and runtime duty assumptions
  • Skimming: blade control + pass repeatability + corner handling (target)
  • Sanding: dust extraction behavior + surface finish repeatability
  • Runtime: measure real power draw and module-level duty cycle

Phase 4 — Field Demonstration

Demonstrate operation in a controlled job-site workflow and quantify productivity.
NEXT
  • Autonomy: room-scale navigation + obstacle handling alongside workers
  • Productivity: measure sqft/day by module (spray / skim / sand)
  • Serviceability: module swap process + cleaning cycles + downtime mapping
  • Field demo assets can be produced with partner approval and brand alignment when applicable.

Phase 5 — Partner Alignment & Scale Path

OEM and integration alignment to accelerate deployment and commercial outcomes.
TARGET
  • OEM alignment: sprayer + power + sensors integration support
  • Documentation: partner-ready spec sheets, integration targets, test results
  • Deployment path: licensing, integration partner, or acquisition discussions
  • Scope and pathway depend on partner goals and validation outcomes.
