Product Line

One platform. Three levels of production.

BOTPLANNERL5 is built on a single robotic platform with interchangeable modules. The differentiation between SL, PRO and XL PRO is defined by the maximum recommended weekly output of the professional sprayers selected for each configuration.

Operator model: One trained operator typically supervises 1 robot. Depending on experience and job conditions, the same operator can supervise up to 3 robots.

BOTPLANNERL5 · SL

VEVOR 1500W sprayer – SL configuration

Entry configuration designed for contractors taking their first step into robotic drywall finishing.

  • Same platform architecture with interchangeable modules
  • Ideal for residential projects
  • Operator supervision: typically 1 robot, up to 3 robots
  • Daily output limited by skimming spray capacity

Target Output (per robot)

  • Sanding: ~750 sqft/hour
  • Gypsum Spray and Blade Skimming: 20–30 gal/week · ~500 sqft/day
  • Painting: 20–30 gal/week · ~2,300 sqft/day

Maximum daily production is governed by the sprayer’s recommended weekly volume, not by robotic speed.

Entry Price Point Residential Starter Configuration

BOTPLANNERL5 · PRO

Titan Impact 640i – PRO configuration

Balanced configuration for professional drywall crews working on multi-unit residential and small commercial interiors.

  • Full interchangeable modules (Skimming, Sanding, Painting)
  • Optimized for continuous daily use
  • Higher duty cycle and workflow automation
  • Operator supervision: typically 1 robot, up to 3 robots
  • Daily output limited by skimming spray capacity

Target Output (per robot)

  • Sanding: ~750 sqft/hour
  • Gypsum Spray and Blade Skimming: 75–100 gal/week · ~2,000 sqft/day
  • Painting: 75–100 gal/week · ~7,600 sqft/day

Designed for consistent daily production across multiple units while staying within manufacturer duty-cycle recommendations.

Multi-Module Best Value Crew-Ready

BOTPLANNERL5 · XL PRO

Graco Mark V HD – XL PRO configuration

High-output configuration for large contractors and high-volume residential and commercial projects.

  • Full modular capability: Skimming, Sanding and Painting
  • Extended reach, duty cycle and automation features
  • Fleet-ready configuration for large sites
  • Operator supervision: typically 1 robot, up to 3 robots
  • Daily output limited by skimming spray capacity

Target Output (per robot)

  • Sanding: ~750 sqft/hour
  • Gypsum Spray and Blade Skimming: ~200 gal/week · ~4,000 sqft/day
  • Painting: ~200 gal/week · ~15,200 sqft/day

Built around maximum-duty professional sprayers while remaining within manufacturer-recommended operating limits.

Note: Actual production depends on access, masking, surface condition and material. BOTPLANNERL5 prioritizes repeatability, finish consistency and predictable output over theoretical peak speed.

Modules

One skimming head, multiple finishing modes.

BOT PLANNER L5 supports skim coat spraying or plastering ready to sand, skim coat spraying and blade skimming, sanding and painting. The same skimming module can operate with a fine compound layer or with blades for high-accuracy Level 5 surface preparation.

Airless spray painting

Controlled-distance airless painting for walls and ceilings, compatible with professional spray systems.

Uniform coverage · programmable standoff.

Technology

Platform architecture & core components.

BOT PLANNER L5 combines an omnidirectional chassis, multi-stage cascade elevator and intelligent sensing to position the skimming, sanding and painting modules precisely on walls and ceilings.

Mecanum wheels
Heavy-duty mecanum drive

Industrial-grade 8" mecanum wheels enable omnidirectional motion to track along walls, reposition in tight spaces and maintain controlled standoff distances.

Mecanum movement diagram
Omnidirectional kinematics

Mecanum kinematics allows the robot to move sideways, diagonally or rotate in place, simplifying navigation around obstacles and interior partitions.

LIDAR sensor
LIDAR-based sensing

A LIDAR sensor and auxiliary sensing help detect walls, corners and obstacles, supporting safe navigation and repeatable finishing paths.

Raspberry Pi 5
Embedded control

An embedded controller coordinates drive, elevator and modules, providing the backbone for motion planning, monitoring and future AI features.

Robot platform rendering
Cascade elevator platform

Multi-stage elevator architecture positions the working head along the full wall and ceiling height range with controlled pressure on the surface.

Battery and inverter
48 V power system

A 48 V energy system is designed to support long duty cycles, including motion, actuation and airless pump integration.

Advantages

BOTPLANNERL5 advantages for drywall contractors

BOTPLANNERL5 is designed to boost productivity, improve finish quality and reduce dependence on scarce, highly skilled labor. These six pillars summarize the value on real job sites.

Compact design

Compact design

Approximate footprint similar to a standard door width, designed to maneuver within tight corridors, residential units and multifamily projects.

Boost productivity

Boost productivity

Target production rates up to 3× higher than traditional manual finishing, with the potential for one operator to supervise up to three robots on the same project.

High quality output

High quality output

Consistent L4 (in a seccond stage) and L5 finishes regardless of individual operator skill level or shifts. The robot repeats the same passes, pressures and overlap every time.

Mitigate labor challenges

Mitigate labor challenges

Easy-to-learn workflows reduce dependence on scarce expert tapers, while improving worker safety by limiting high-height and repetitive strain tasks.

Built-in AI

Built-in AI & sensing

Mapping, seam detection, distance control and force sensing help the robot follow studs, seams and edges with repeatable blade and spray paths.

Robust analytics

Robust analytics

Real-time data on coverage, cycle times and material usage supports better scheduling, costing and fleet management decisions.
